Terre handles all aspects of personal injury, commercial and property damage litigation from initial case evaluation, to settlement, trial, arbitration, mediations and appeals.
She has broad experience defending matters on behalf of insurance carriers including areas of labor law, construction site accidents, construction defect, premises liability, products liability, dram shop, insurance coverage, negligent hiring and security, commercial property damage and automobile liability.
Terre is also a mediator in the New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division, a Special Master at Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division 2nd Department and a mediator for the Supreme Court, Bronx County. She serves on the pro bono advocate panel of the United States District Court for the EDNY Mediation Advocacy Panel (in claims involving employment discrimination and Section 1983 matters).
Prior to joining the firm, Terre served as in house counsel for a major liability and casualty insurance company rising from associate attorney to attorney of record, senior trial attorney and managing partner of the firm.

Theresa Villani successfully argued the appeal in Salinas v. World Housewares, et al. before the Appellate Division First Department which unanimously affirmed the Supreme Court New York County decision granting summary judgment and dismissing the plaintiff's complaint in its entirety.
In Colonial Funding Network, Inc. v. Swift Health Care, Inc., et al., Index 654647/2016, Supreme Court, New York County, Jeremy Berman secured an order vacating a restraining notice on a company''s bank account and vacating an approximately 6-year-old default judgment upon which the restraining notice was based.
