Aishwarya Mohapatra is an associate at Russo & Gould LLP. Before joining the firm, she worked at a boutique matrimonial practice, where she handled a broad range of matrimonial and family law matters across New York, Kings, Westchester, and Nassau Counties.

Aishwarya earned her LLM. from Columbia Law School in 2023, where she served as a Staff Editor for The American Review of International Arbitration and worked as a research assistant in constitutional law. Following graduation, she briefly served as a Judicial Fellow to Justice Gerald Lebovits in the New York County Supreme Court. Prior to relocating to New York, she practiced law in India for several years, appearing before various High Courts and tribunals. Her experience spans litigation and advisory work involving commercial disputes, constitutional law, arbitration, and fintech regulatory matters.

Aishwarya is fluent in Hindi and Odia. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading non‑fiction and historical fiction, contributing to her local community, and is currently learning to sew.
